I’m Roy and I suppose I’ve been here at Computacenter for longer than most. I started in 1994 in the Configuration department, felt at ease immediately with the atmosphere here and still do to this day. At first my work involved pretty basic software and hardware installations, but I soon graduated onto more complex work and then to complicated server installations.
Today I’m Server Team Leader, looking after eight people, mostly engineers. It’s our job to sort out any hardware and software compatibility issues and help ensure the customer gets exactly what’s fit for purpose, when he wants it.

Hello, I’m Andy and I’ve been with Computacenter for nine years. I’m really pleased with the progress I’ve made in that time, five promotions taking me from Product Information Co-ordinator to my role as Commercial Purchasing Manager.

Gloria Okoronkwo

Hello, I’m Gloria. I transferred to Computacenter under TUPE regulations, starting out as a First Line Analyst working at the Service Support Centre in Milton Keynes but very quickly moved on to Escalation Management. I help resolve IT problems. For example, if someone is trying to print off a mortgage quotation for someone and the printer has broken down, my job is to ensure that something is done about that quickly. Our service can make a big difference to a customer’s business success.
